Keep the server's mail reputation clean, search the delivery log, and control the alerts HF Panel sends to customers and staff.
The Email group is where you look after mail on the whole server: its reputation and sending limits, what happened to each message, and the notifications centre that sends alerts to customers and staff.
Where: Server Admin › Email
| Screen | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Server mailboxes | The mailbox admin@yourdomain.com and the other mail of the server's own domain: sign in to Mail, new passwords, the role addresses. |
| Outgoing mail relay | Send outgoing mail through an SMTP relay when your provider blocks outgoing port 25. |
| Mail health | The server's mail reputation (reverse DNS, blocklists, DKIM, SPF), the hourly sending limit, the spam guard, the spam filter (SpamAssassin or Rspamd) and the mail queue. |
| Mail delivery log | What happened to every message on the server: sent, received, deferred, bounced or rejected. |
| Notifications | The notifications centre: which channels people may use, limits and retries, every event and who it goes to, and every delivery. |
| Sending limits | Limit how many emails each account sends per hour and per day, hold sudden spikes at once, see the top senders and let accounts send again. |
Customers manage their own mailboxes in the Control Panel. Resellers also see the Mail delivery log, limited to their customers' domains.
