Use the panel on your phone
Server Admin, Reseller Panel and Control Panel on a phone, installing the panel as an app and getting notifications on your device.
Every panel — Server Admin, Reseller Panel and Control Panel — works on a phone. Open its usual address
(with the port, for example https://cp.example.com:8443) in the phone's browser and sign in as you
do on a computer.
How the panel looks on a phone
- Menu: tap the menu button at the top left (top right in Arabic, Persian and Urdu). The menu slides in with the page you are on highlighted. Tap a page to open it; tap outside the menu, swipe it away or press Esc on a keyboard to close it.
- Lists: Accounts, Domains, Email, Databases, Backups and Support show each row as a small card. Other tables scroll sideways inside their card, with the first column kept in view.
- Row menus (Manage, ⋯) open from the bottom of the screen.
- Adding and editing: the New … dialogs and step wizards fill the screen; the Save, Next and Finish buttons stay at the bottom while you scroll.
- Your name's menu at the top right holds Appearance (light or dark), the language and Sign out.
Install the panel as an app
Installed, the panel opens from your home screen in its own window, without the browser's address bar. It is the same panel: nothing extra is downloaded and you stay signed in as usual.
Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet):
- Open the panel and sign in.
- Open your name's menu at the top right and tap Install the app (it appears when the browser offers it), or use the browser menu › Install app / Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. The app's icon appears on your home screen.
iPhone and iPad (Safari):
- Open the panel in Safari.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Computers (Chrome, Edge): click the install icon in the address bar, or Install the app in your name's menu.
Each panel installs as its own app, named after your hosting provider's brand, so an administrator can keep Server Admin and a Control Panel side by side.
Note: the app keeps only the panel's own program files on the device, so it starts quickly. Your data, pages and sign-in are never stored on the phone: without a connection the app says you are offline and your websites keep running.
Notifications on your phone
Turn them on under Account › Notifications: tick Notify me on this device on the This device card and allow notifications when the phone asks. You then hear about support replies and websites going down; administrators and resellers also get the server's alerts (a service stopped, disk space running out, a server not answering). See Notifications.
Note: on iPhone and iPad, notifications work only in the installed app (iOS 16.4 or newer): add the panel to the home screen first, open it from there, then tick the box.
To stop them, untick the box on that device, or block notifications for the panel in the phone's settings.
