Brand the panel for your customers

Put your own logo, name and help links on every HF Panel server you hand to customers, and point licence questions to you.

Your customers should see your brand, not HostFog Ltd's. HF Panel gives you three layers: what the licence says, what the server shows, and what resellers on that server show.

1. The licence points to you

Every licence issued through your partner account carries your company. On each of those servers, Server Admin › Billing › Licence shows you as the licence provider with your support email. When HostFog Ltd has a support address (a web page starting with https://) on file for you, the licence screen's links for help, plan changes and payments go there too. Send HostFog Ltd the support email and address to use.

Nothing has to be done on the servers: they pick this up at their next licence check.

2. White label on each server

On each server, Server Admin › System › White label puts your logo and name on the panel, the login page, Mail, emails and the browser tab, with no mention of HostFog Ltd. See White label.

The settings that matter most to a partner:

Setting Where What to set
Logo White label your logo, PNG or SVG
Never show the name HostFog Ltd to anyone White label ticked
help link and login message White label your own help site and a short message
brand name and colour Settings your brand

Tip: set white label once on a template server and copy it with your server image, or apply it from your provisioning scripts right after the install, so every new server starts in your brand.

3. Addresses and nameservers

Customers reach the panels on the server's own domain: cp., srv. and rs. followed by the domain given at install time, on port 8443. Install each server with --hostname set to a name under your own domain or your customer's. Nameservers default to ns1. and ns2. of that domain (--ns1, --ns2 change them). See Customise the installation.

4. Resellers on your servers

If your customers resell hosting themselves, each reseller can add their own brand, panel address and nameservers on top. See Your brand.
